Grab The Button - Let Others Take The Challenge!

First, I totally created a button.

I KNOW.

I'm so impressed with myself that I might go buy myself a present.

Now, grab the code to the right and put the button on your blog. Let's keep up the challenge! Imagine what this world will be like if more people do something nice for others and give HIM the credit, rather than taking the credit themselves.

Awesome to think about, huh?

You rock! LOVE LOVE LOVE The button. It's super cute and cool!

Off to put it on my site!

Mary

PS my verification word is subcape -- is that a cape for minor superheroes?

No, Mary. It's a cape for submarines. Or sub sandwiches. I'm not sure which one, but definitely one of the two. Duh!

Great idea.

I posted a blog announcement - with your button link - here:

ARE YOU READY FOR A NICE CHALLENGE?

Ok Spencer -- I can see how people would think that but I have to tell you that it's not the case. I'm very up on my super hero information and a subcape is the cape of the minor heroes and sometimes the heroes in training wear a subcape. They can't, by reason of their minor status, wear the full-out cape. That is the reason for the subcape.

All superheroes must have a cape (and yes, I know that some don't wear them in the official photos, but they still have them). Their is the full-cape and the subcape.

Ah, but Mary, have you seen the Incredibles? Superheroes with capes, big or small, have a bad end...so. I think change could be on the horizon...

love you! ;)

Just found your blog and thought i would say hi! Going to read about the challenge, but I can tell I agree with you already! Love the bright colors on your blog!

Mary, I respectfully beg to differ. A cape, while not full, for a wanna-be superhero, or one in training, or a minor hero (which I've never heard of before) would be referred to as a SUB or MINI Cape. It's ok to be wrong. I've been wrong once before.

BTW - my word verification is "squessen". Used in a sentence, it would be....That old lady is "squessen" that baby's cheeks off! HA! LOL!

Okay - LOVE the button and I'm SUPER impressed by your button-making prowess. I would bow down to you in this area if it wouldn't be, well...wrong!

To Mary and Spencer...did y'all participate in Fran's contest for making up definitions for the word verifications and using them in a sentence?? If you didn't, you MISSED OUT - it was the most stinkin' fun I've had blogging in a long time!

I, personally, think a "subcape" was part of the Beatles' wardrobe in "The Yellow Submarine"...I'm sure I've seen it at one of the Hard Rock Cafe locations behind glass.

XO Melinda
