It's On, People.

We have successfully made it through "birthday season."

For some strange reason, everyone in my family has a birthday in May, June or July. Seriously. We have birthdays on May 10, May 11, May 12, May 19, May 23, June 3, July 2, and July 15. There's also Mother's Day and Father's Day in the mix. 2 of these birthdays belong to my oldest daughters, so they also include birthday parties.

Needless to say, we're tired and broke.

And the clutter in my house is taking over. It seems like we are so busy that we didn't get to purge old toys before the new birthday toys came in. We also have been at the softball field 6 days a week since May 1. So little things like putting up laundry, clearing clutter out of the kitchen/garage/playroom/bedrooms/den/stair landing....(ok. The whole house.) have been put on the back burner.

Until now.

It's on, my friends.

I'm sick of it. I'm sick of searching for lost shoes. I'm sick of getting dressed from folded clothes that are still in hampers waiting to get put up. I'm sick of looking for pieces of toys that are under furniture, in furniture, around furniture.

It's spring cleaning in July.

I'll be throwing stuff away, giving stuff away, and selling stuff on eBay.

I'll probably be posting the results on "BooMama's Before and After" extravaganza. After all, what's a good cleaning without a good blogging opportunity?

I'll let you know how it goes.

Pray for me.

Seriously.

Thank you very much.

I know exactly how you feel. Our season just ended yesterday. I have count them 5 baskets of laundry that are folded that need to be put away. I don't know where to start. The house or the car. The car looks as bad as the house. I look forward to seeing your end result. It might push me into getting started.
