Me

I live in Birmingham. Apparently there are a bunch of bloggy people in Birmingham, because we are having a Bham Blogger broo-ha-ha/get-together/par-tay/fun time to introduce our internet selves to our real selves. We are calling it BLAWGer because, hello, we are from Alabama, and phonetically that is exactly how we say it. One of the things we are doing is introducing ourselves to each other on our blogs so we are more familiar with each other when we really get together.

So here goes...

My name is Robyn.

I am a stay-at-home mom of 3 girls ages 7, almost 3, and 19 months.

These kids totally rock my world.

I am married to the awesomest daddy, husband, 7 year old softball coach in the world. We have been married for almost 11 years.

I love reading, singing, playing guitar, watching TV, swimming, and watching my daughter play softball. I am a HUGE Auburn fan and am raising my daughters to love Auburn even though Daddy is a HUGE Alabama fan. He tries to convert them every fall, but fails every time.

I have lived in Birmingham for 2 years. Before that, we lived in Tallahassee, FL. Before that, we lived in Montgomery, AL. That's where I grew up.

I am so grateful for the area of Bham in which we live because the school system has private school caliber schools but they are public. And the elementary school and the middle school are 8/10 of a mile from my house. Which means the kids will be really close by through the 8th grade. Gotta love that.

I love meeting celebrities. So far in the past 3 months, I've met Kelly Clarkson, Jennie Finch, and Taylor Swift. They were all nice beyond comprehension.

I am a huge Reba fan. Have been all my life.

I paint artwork for children's rooms. I get all my artistic ability from my dad. He's really talented but would never let you know that.

Speaking of my dad, he's a pastor. That's right, I'm a PK. I was never a wild one, though. I was (and still am) a rule follower. Well, sorta.

I have thoroughly enjoyed my voyage into Bloggyville. It's been fun to meet people who otherwise I would've never met. I'm also amazed at how many of us are in Birmingham!

I can't wait to meet you all. I have a feeling that some of us have met, but don't know it yet.

See y'all soon!!!

oh wow, so jealous you met Kelly Clarkson!! LOVE her!! :) How did you get to meet her? and what was she like in person? I've heard nothing but great things from people that have met her before. ahhhh, maybe someday I will too. I'm going to see Reba and Kelly this fall, and can't wait.

I met her at a meet and greet at the 2W2V concert in Tupelo, MS in Feb. She was REALLY nice and really down to earth. She gave me a big hug and I got a picture made with her.
I'll also be at she & Reba's concert in the fall. Can't wait to see it again. It was amazing the 1st time.
Thanks for commenting!
